As stated in my previous Blogging post, I will be writing a step by step series.  Starting tomorrow I will begin posting a 5 part series covering Blogging Basics.  The parts will be broken out into Blog Setup, Blog Optimization, SEO (Search Engine Optimization), Blog Promotion, and Making Money Online with your Blog.

This series will be an overview of everything that is needed to start your own money making blog.  There is definitely money to be made in blogging.  If you don’t believe me, check out John Chow or Shoemoney.  These big guys make a boat load of money every month and they label themselves as full time bloggers.  A couple of the smaller ones to check out are Affiliate Confession and Tyler Cruz.  They don’t make as much as the big guys but they still make a nice chunk of change. 

The one thing to remember is that if you decide to take this path, you have to be dedicated.  You will not see results overnight or even within a month.  Blogging income is something that you have to build up over time.  If you view any bloggers’ monthly income report, you will see that as time went on, their monthly income increased.  I have seen a blog go from making about $100 per month to $8k+ per month in 18 months.
