In my first post, I said that I will be showing you how to make money online and how to save money online. One of the best ways to save money is coupons.

I am a coupon fanatic. I never go shopping without coupons. And I don’t mean just grocery coupons. I am talking about store coupons. There are so many stores and not all of them send out flyers or have circulars in the Sunday paper. So how do you get coupons to all of your favorite stores? Email!

Email has become a great promotional tool for these companies. And since the cost of this kind of advetising is minimal compared to printed advertising, more and more companies are doing away with print.

Most stores will send out coupons via email. They also send out sales and advertising emails. Some stores will even send out web only coupons that you can only get via email. All of these emails can clog up your personal account.

My suggestion is to get a free Gmail account and sign up with all of your favorite stores online to start receiving emails. If they have a birthday club, make sure to sign up for that because the coupons that you will receive are great. Now all you have to do is remember that before you go out shopping, just check your special coupon email for coupons for the stores you are thinking about going to.

Also remember to check this email out at least once a week or you might miss some great deals. I just checked mine today and found a 30% off your entire purchase multiple use coupon event for Gap, Old Navy, and Banana Republic. I will definitely be going to this one.
